Many of us were thrilled to discover that our church or ministry could receive funding from the Paycheck Protection Program to assist during this unexpected season. Sadly, for many, those hopes didn’t last long — the fund was totally depleted in just two weeks.
At Team Expansion, we were once again reminded of the huge asset our finance team plays in the ministry as they promptly prepared and submitted our application. In an earlier post, we were able to share what we learned about this process along with our friends at Christ’s Church of the Valley. It turned out, our organizations were some of the fortunate few to receive this PPP funding, leaving us feeling thankful for our own ministries, but sad and concerned for the many churches and groups left with nothing.
Some Amazing News!
But today we heard some amazing news, the leaders in Washington have just agreed on additional funds for the Paycheck Protection Program. If your church or group hadn’t applied — or if you applied but hadn’t heard — you should receive good news very shortly. Yay! See, for example, this article:

Keep in mind, these funds are going to once again go fast. Don’t delay in submitting your application. In this post, we tried to answer some common questions people have been having during the process. We’d love to pray with you through this process, please leave your prayer requests and let us join you in placing this in God’s hands.
