We are the Navarrete family. We have worked for Team Expansion for more than 19 years as church planters in Venezuela. Venezuela used to have the most prosperous economy in South America and now is under critical distress caused by political conflicts, hyperinflation that doesn’t allow people to get basic necessities (food, medicine, clothing) and an almost entirely nonexistent health care system. In spite of this, the Venezuelan Church continues to flourish, and God is adding to the church more followers of Christ! We began a lunch ministry in 2016 that feeds the neediest children. In 2006, we utilized sports ministry in the form of a soccer team where youth, between the ages of 4 and 23 yrs. hear the Word of God during practices Monday thru Friday. Our work in Venezuela continues through administration, financial support, leadership counseling for Venezuelan lay leaders and 3 or more field visits every year.

Team Expansion is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Since 1981, our workers have sent monthly financial reports with full disclosure and completely “open hands.” You’ll know every month how much money came in and how it was spent.
