A few years ago, while accompanying a prayer journey team through a very dark tunnel, I was caught trying to shine my flashlight both for those walking beside me as well as for those behind me.

It wasn’t long before a 2-foot drop-off caught a teammate beside me by surprise. He ended up breaking his hip in the process, prompting surgeries and weeks on crutches.

On that day, I thought I was prepared (because I always carry a trusty flashlight), but unfortunately, as it turned out, we needed more than one light.

I feel bad about that day, but on a spiritual level, I feel even worse about the 2.9 billion souls hurling toward a Christ-less eternity in spiritual darkness.

That’s why we are fully committed to bringing the Gospel to the most unreached places in the world.

Join us in our efforts to fulfill the Great Commission. Take the first step today.
