Information Technology Director
Purpose/Goal of Ministry
Learn and then serve the information technology needs at International Services
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
- Serve the missionaries of team Expansion in the arena of information technology
- Train with the director in documentation and skills to carry out the work associated with Team Expansion’s technology
- Assist the director in the reporting and programming needs with CiviCRM
- Assist in maintaining documentation
- Assist in offering IT support for workers in the home office and around the world
- Assist in handling IT security issues
- Help develop online training materials as needed
- Assist in the upkeep of all information services (computer hardware, wiring, telephone equipment, etc.)
- Assist in the installation of new services as needed (including hardware and software)
- Assist in developing contacts from which Team Expansion could obtain needed software and hardware
- Assist in other miscellaneous roles relating to information technology
- Raise needed support
- Assume duties of IT Director as needed
MINISTRY QUALIFICATIONS
- Love for the Lord Jesus Christ
- Love for the lost
- Ability to work well with employees at varying levels of computer knowledge
- Heart of service
- Ability to communicate vision, goals, and the details of a plan
- Strong work ethic
TIME COMMITMENT/SCHEDULE
Eight hours per day or as need requires
ORIENTATION PLAN/TRAINING/EVALUATION
- Attend Launch
- Meet at a minimum once/month with IT Director for re-evaluation and planning (LIFT)
- Search for and participate in appropriate courses, seminars, or other training opportunities to improve skills needed for the job
