One of the best entry strategies for Lao national missionaries is for them to sell simple items that are not readily available in remote villages, like sticky rice baskets and other trinkets from the market. This type of simple business is very common, does not require any kind of registration, and leaves no way to trace them back to the sending bases in the cities. Praise God for opening these doors of entry into remote villages that is legal and legitimate in the eyes of government. Pray for rapid spread of the Gospel among peoples of Laos.

“Praise the Lord, all your nations, praise his glory and might.” (1 Chronicles 16:28) We praise you, Lord Jesus, that your name will be praised among every tribe, tongue, and language, even in these specific peoples and cities: the Serbs of Bosnia; the Khmer of Cambodia; the Druze of the Golan Heights; the Punjabi Sikhs of India; Ancona and Rome, Italy; Tokyo, Japan; the Mien of Laos; and the people of Taiwan.

Join Derik and Jennifer DeVries (Taiwan) in praying that their college students will begin to use the training they have received to start and grow small groups who will worship and study together. Pray for a college freshman who is at a very traditional (religious) college and has already had to take a stand for her beliefs, but she has also found other Christians where she least expected.
