Team Expansion General Request
“How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast the sum of them!” (Psalm 139:17)
Spend time listening to God and finding out His thoughts. Allow God to speak to you through Psalm 139 using the SOAPS model: S-Scripture, read and write it in your own words; O-write out observations; A-Apply the Word; P-Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you in obedient steps; S-share with someone what you have heard from the Lord and share with someone this method of listening to God.
Team Expansion Worker
Join Josiah and Laura Martin in Japan in lifting these requests before God:
- Please pray that God would continue to strengthen Mi-chan, Me-san, and Katia, new sisters in the faith.
- Pray that God would give open doors to share the Gospel and pray for those at the coffee shops, the community center, and with language helpers. Pray that God would continue to unite the team in Ishinomaki with love and desire for Jesus.
- Ask God to strengthen brothers and sisters in Christ who are helping the Martins with language: Yu-san, Ya-san, and Ma-san.
- Pray the Lord would manifest Himself as Savior and Friend to Shi-san, Yu-san, Na-san, Oh-san, Ha-san, Ak-san, and Nao-san; Japanese language helpers who are not believers yet.
Pray for More Workers
Ask God to thrust out harvest workers into the Tingal in Sudan.
Unreached People of the Day
The Fulani people in Nigeria serve mostly as nomadic cattle ranchers and oppose any outside influences that they are not accustomed to. Would you join us in praying for 328 workers to show the Nigerian Fulani that we serve a God who knows them better than they know themselves?
