“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:26-27)

Father, we praise You for newly established churches and groups in Valor. Many of the churches are composed of entire families, and many indigenous young people are growing up hearing about Jesus!

We are grateful and praise God for financial supporters who have generously gone above and beyond their normal giving to help keep our mission financially solvent.
The opportunity to share the Gospel with the three Mauritanian students we hosted for Thanksgiving dinner.
This year God has given us an abundance of opportunities to build relationships with our ESL students and others through our partnership with Arab American Friendship Center.
God sustains us in every way as we continue to be Christ to, and share Christ with, our Arab Muslim neighbors.

please pray:

that all the Gospel seeds our team has planted over the past ten years will take root and grow.
for complete healing and recovery from Larry’s recent major dental surgery.
that war in the Middle East and the recent events in Syria will not provide a cause to get behind and renew fervor for Islam in our city, especially among those who have become discontented with their religion and open to Jesus.
that 2025 will be the year when we see the beginnings of a Disciple-Making Movement in our city.
that the Holy Spirit will gift the three Mauritanian students we hosted for Thanksgiving – M, L, and H – with a strong desire to know more about Jesus the Messiah, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Lord of the Harvest, thank You for sending out harvest workers to proclaim Your name in Valor. Thrust out new workers from these indigenous groups and simple churches to tell the Good News of Jesus.
