“What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2)

One pattern in disciple making movements used by competent disciple makers to train emerging leaders involves MAWL – model, assist, watch, and leave. First, disciple making is modeled by a leader. Second, the leader assists new believers to do the same things. As the new believers grow, the leader supports, watches, and coaches from behind. Once the new group is solidly rooted, the leader can leave to repeat the process with other disciples.

God of love, we ask that You will use the MAWL process to raise up many new leaders for the Tenerife church. Father, we ask You for generations of disciples who make disciples everywhere the Tenerife Islanders live around the world.

Pray for More Workers

Loving Father, send workers to join a family already serving in Tenerife.
