One team in North Africa held a retreat recently for their local leaders and disciples. These believers live in places where it is difficult to meet with other believers and some of them have been suffering persecution from their own families and from the society that surrounds them.
Team Expansion Worker
Please lift these requests before the Lord on behalf of the Huddleston family in Japan:
Praise God for bringing people together for camp! Pray for the seeds that were planted to begin to take root. Pray for team and church to have wisdom and boldness in helping people take next steps in their journey towards following Jesus.
-Continue to pray for the three young couples who joined in at camp. Pray for changed lives and changed marriages.
-Continue to pray for O-chan, that she will develop a deep hunger and thirst for Jesus.
-Pray for one of the Japanese Christians, A-san, who is under heavy spiritual attack and is really struggling right now. Ask for wisdom in helping her.
-Pray for the team working through a season of transition. Pray for perseverance, unity, and love as to serve together.
-Pray for missionaries serving throughout Tohoku, one of the least reached regions of Japan. May the light of Jesus shine brightly through fellow laborers in the harvest.
-Thank God that Jennifer’s mom is out of the hospital and her knee seems to recover well.
-Ask God for new community connections through things like spike outreach, Caleb’s coffee shop, beach cleaning, and teammates’ “Art Café.”
-Please continue to pray for all the Huddleston kids that they will allow God to guide them in the decisions they make and that they will choose Him as Lord over everything in their lives.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more harvest workers for North African people groups to have opportunity to hear the Gospel message and respond to Jesus in obedience.
