One of Team Expansion’s prayer pattern is to participate in a monthly Day of Extraordinary Prayer and Fasting. God has never blessed a nation with a church multiplication movement except in the context of Extraordinary Prayer. “Without prayer, the Christian life, robbed of its sweetness and its beauty, becomes cold and formal and dead; but when rooted in the secret place where God meets and walks and talks with His own, it will grow into such a testimony of divine power that all men will feel its influence and be touched by the warmth of its love. Thus, resembling our LORD and Master, we will be used for the glory of God and the salvation of our fellow men.” – EM Bounds. Pray that Team Expansion as an organization, and that we as the body of Christ would engage more fully in Extraordinary Prayer and tell testimony of God’s power to multiply churches.
Praise God for the strategy of Laos National Missionaries in the south to send out 14 people to engage 17 tribes all for the glory of ONE God!
“Every day they continued to meet in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” Acts 2:46-47. Lord, we ask you to open hearts and home in Tokyo, Japan. We pray this verse/picture would become a reality among the Japanese. Add to the number of those being saved daily, Lord Jesus.
Continue to pray for A and J’s family in Southeast Asia, especially for H and R as they make decisions concerning college and apply for financial aid. Pray for A’s sister A who is fighting Lymphoma. So far, she is tolerating chemotherapy well but still has more treatments.
