Pray for the region of Sicily as, much like the rest of southern Italy, it tends to have a great interest in the spiritual world. The Sicilians have many festivals to venerate saints and Mary, and they are heavily influenced by superstitions. Pray that the Holy Spirit would open their eyes so that they would see how they have become slaves to the enemy due to the traditions and superstitions. Pray that when they recognize how far they are from the truth, they would quickly repent, believe in Jesus, and join the work to set their friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors free. Pray that a disciple making movement would sweep the island brining new life to the region and expanding Jesus’s kingdom there and beyond.
