Operation World is a prayer resource that can help to change the spiritual climate of our world. It contains information that fuels intercession for regions, countries, and people groups.
Pray for Japan, which has the world’s lowest birth rates and highest life expectancies, so the population rapidly ages. The social and economic challenge this creates is enormous. By 2055, half of the Japanese will be retired and collect a pension. No other country has faced this before. Pray for more Christian nursing homes and hospices. Japan will need many care workers and this will create a mission opportunity for believers from other nations. Japan’s low birth rate results in a small younger generation with their own challenges and issues. Those aged 18-23 are the most open to the Gospel but few actually become active believers. The bonds that once held Japanese society together have lost much of their strength.

- Please continue to pray for DG’s Arabic acquisition in the Middle East.
- Please keep praying for the situation across the river. As the devastation in Israel/Palestine continues, pray for every heart to come to know Christ.
- Please continue to pray for M and A, local friends with whom DG has shared several stories recently. They have shown some interest.
- Praise God for the recent opportunity DG has to run his friend’s coffee shop while he is on his honeymoon. Please pray for an uneventful few weeks and many opportunities to share the gospel and build friendships with locals.
- Pray for the Syrian community DG ministers to, as many are feeling heightened anxiety after the recent Iranian attack.

Lord of the Harvest, we ask You to raise up consistent and fervent intercessors to pray Kingdom prayers that can change the world and fulfill Your Great Commission in our lifetime.
Japan is the largest unevangelized nation that is completely open to missionaries. Yet, due to spiritual, socio-cultural, linguistic, and financial difficulties, becoming an effective minister of the gospel is a long, hard process of adaption. Send out workers prepared and committed for the long haul in order to make disciples.
