Hinduism has no founder. There is no figure like Buddha, Jesus, Confucius, or Muhammad. Hinduism has many strands and has developed into a complex system of varied ideas and beliefs. In summary: 1. God is at the center of life for Hindus, believed to be incarnated and to be worshiped in many different forms. 2. Suffering and justice comes down to karma – cause and effect. Your next life may or may not turn out better; just accept your duty to fully embrace and accept your current one. 3. Fulfill duty to the gods, your guru, and your family according to social status. 4. Every Hindu is born into a network of relationships within the family and caste group which holds together Hindu practices and beliefs. 5. The goal of life, is … liberation … from both the illusion that life is real and the cycle of reincarnation.
Almighty God and Father, penetrate the Hindu world to set these people free from ancient lies that hold them captive and make them slaves to the Adversary. Free their minds of foolish beliefs. Free their lives from what is false and break the cycle of duty and deluded hope. Free their hearts to see You, Jesus, as the One True God to be worshiped in spirit and in truth.
Team Expansion Worker
Praise God!! D and C are blessed to report that their trip to Asia was great. They had important visits with workers, both from America and from Asia. We finalized the set-up of a team of Indonesians in an important unreached area.
Pray for More Workers
Master of the Harvest, thrust out workers to India and other places where Hinduism is prominent for sharing the Gospel and making disciples.
