Team Expansion Worker
Allen and Cherry Messimer’s eldest daughter graduated from HS in Taiwan recently! Please be praying for her as she steps out into the unknown. Please ask God to provide Godly friends and mentors in this next stage of life.
- Praise God for the opportunities to engage the cafe community with the gospel. Though running a cafe is tiring and the financial situation less than ideal, Allen and Cherry continue to see an openness to the Gospel that is both exciting and fulfilling. Please ask God to guide our cafe partners as Allen and Cherry are away for six months.
- Recently Allen has been meeting twice a week with a businessman who wanted to improve his English. He is full of questions about a Christian’s worldview, is Jesus’ resurrection real, what is hell like, why are there so many religions, love and marriage (just to name a few!), and thankful for the opportunity to ask them. Time is too short, but Allen trusts that God has a plan to keep pursuing him and his family. Please be praying for O. and his family.
- Praise God for the thirteen students who were baptized this month! Please be praying for them and their families.
- Please continue to pray for Sports and English Camp. Please pray for the planning, the staff, the students who will be attending, and their parents.
- The Messimer family will be in the States for the second half of this year. They will be helping their oldest daughter transition to college and life in America, homeschooling their other kids, reporting to churches, and visiting supporters, friends, and family. They welcome your prayers for these things. Also, please ask God to help them find a suitable vehicle for these six months.
- Praise God for open hearts in the Middle East. During a recent Kavanah Media ad campaign, Christians there were getting messages every five seconds! The harvest is plentiful; please be praying for the workers there.
