There are over 12,500 Persians who have moved to Italy for religious and/or political freedom. Some have had to flee for their lives because of being caught in the underground churches. Father, we pray that the Persian Christians would keep growing in their faith and that they would be bold in their witness to both other Persians and to Italians. We pray the Persian believers’ fruit of perseverance in persecution would ignite a fire in the Italian church to truly pick up their cross and follow Jesus.
