July 6, 2018

Team Expansion General Request
Praise God that for blessing the work in the Philippines with 28+ simple churches started. Pray the momentum continues, that God steers them through challenges of training and sending Filipinos to unreached peoples in Asia.
Final 58 in Laos
Pray for the Chut, 1,700 followers of ethnic religions. Pray for the Giay, 7,800 adherents to ethnic religions. Ask God to reveal Himself to them as the true Father and the only one with the power to help and protect those who worship ancestors and seek their help.
Gospel Breakthrough: The Khmer in Cambodia
Pray that the Khmer people would praise the Father in their heart language. Pray that the Gospel will spread in all the people groups of Cambodia and that new churches of young believers will plant more churches throughout Cambodia

Join S and K in asking God to raise up long-term workers to reach the Delta people in Asia. Ask for God to give wisdom to local church leaders who face increasing pressure. Pray for a movement of disciples who make disciples who make disciples in their city.

Praise God for how He is moving among the Filipinos! Pray for the successful establishment of Team Expansion’s Philippines Sending Base.

Pray for the Halang Doan, (2,300) and for the Hani, (850), both groups are followers of ethnic religions. Pray that they will know the One True, Living God and His Son Jesus, the Light of the World.
Gospel Breakthrough: The Khmer in Cambodia
Lord, the people of Decapolis who rejected you in Mark 5:17 came to you soon after ( Mark 6:55). Likewise, we pray that the Khmer who reject you now will soon seek you.

Join Pascal and Anna Temba Sinkala in praying for members of the church to be quick learners and mature teachers. Pray for Anna as she teaches skills to the ladies so that they can sell various items to earn income. Pray that she will use her skills to reach out to as many people as possible.

Praise God for the opportunity to gather Team Expansion workers for a time to connect through prayer, worship, training, and refreshment. Praise God for resources provided through churches and individuals, grants and fundraisers to make all this happen.

Pray for the Hung, 4,500 adherents to ethnic religions. Pray for the Jeng, 7,600 followers of ethnic religions. Pray that these unreached, unengaged groups will have the joy of knowing Jesus.
Gospel Breakthrough: The Khmer in Cambodia
Pray that the Khmer will abandon traditional beliefs and put their trust in Jesus.

Give praise to God for a wonderful facility to house people participating in a regional retreat. Pray that these workers would be refreshed and recharged by the Holy Spirit’s presence and power.

Pray for the Kasseng (1,200) and for the Kate, (800). Both groups are followers of ethnic religions. Ask God to make His Name known among these people.
Gospel Breakthrough: The Punjabi Sikhs in India
Pray for those who are seeking Jesus to find Him and that there would be many more opportunities for workers to share with them.

Pray that God would bring complete recovery to Jenny Smith (International Services) since undergoing four surgeries since March 31. Pray for no further complications and for peace for Jenny as she recovers. Ask God to restore her quickly to good health.

Praise God for volunteers who are serving Missionary Kids during a regional retreat. Pray for a spirit of cooperation for the children and youth. Pray for stamina, strength, and Spirit to serve MKs.

Pray for the Katong, 1000 followers of Buddhism and for the Khmer, 5800 Buddhists. Ask God to show those following Buddha that the true path to contentment is found only in Jesus.
Gospel Breakthrough: The Punjabi Sikhs in India
Lord Jesus, may the day come soon when the Punjabi Sikhs in India will thirst for You, as a parched land thirsts for rain. May they lift their hands in prayers of repentance and adoration (Psalm 143:6).

Pray that Matthew and Sheri Smith would allow God to prepare and equip them and their marriage in this time for what He would have them to do in Birmingham, England. Pray that God’s peace would reign in their hearts and minds during this busy time of potential stress. Pray for those with whom they will be working in Birmingham: David, Teresa, Tammy, Tim, Jen, and whomever else God has planned.

Praise God for families dedicated to Christ and serving Him in cross-cultural settings in the Americas. Pray that MKs will enjoy the regional retreat, form lasting friendships, and draw closer in their relationship with Jesus.

Pray for the Khua, (4100) and for the Khuen (12,500). Both groups are followers of ethnic religions. Ask the Holy Spirit to mobilize and equip believers in this region of Laos to make disciples and plant churches among the unreached.
Gospel Breakthrough: The Punjabi Sikhs in India
Sometimes it is hard to imagine the expansion of the church happening again as it happened in the book of Acts. However, if people today saw the same signs and wonders that the people witnessed then, it would certainly expand as fast, or even faster. Pray that God reveals Himself in signs and wonders to the Punjabi Sikhs as He sees fit so that churches will multiply and expand as in the book of Acts!

Give thanks for three keynote speakers at Team Expansion’s regional retreat/conference. Praise God for experiences to share. Ask God to speak through each presenter/facilitator for building up the body of Christ, His mission force.

Pray for the Kongsat, 150 followers of ethnic religions. Pray for the Kri, 1200 followers of ethnic religions. Ask God to make His Name known among these people.

Pray for more workers into the Italian field so that the Gospel may be widely planted and more fruit may be harvested

Join Tim and Daphne Stapleton in praying for good results from the mission trip they led for the Briar Ridge Christian Church in Taiwan to work with Chris and Samantha Sanford. Ask God to nourish seeds that were planted. Pray for God to continue to work in the hearts and lives of each of the Briar Ridge team members for His glory the sake of His Kingdom.

Give thanks for Team Expansion counselors and professionals that have made themselves available for workers attending the regional conference. Ask God to orchestrate necessary conversations so that workers might address any issues that need to be repented of, resolved, and be restored by the work of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for the Kuan, 3900 followers of ethnic religions and for the Laoseng, 10,500 people who also are followers of ethnic religions. Ask God to cause those who do not know Him to be dissatisfied with their false gods and ancestor worship and hunger for Him.
Gospel Breakthrough: Ancona, Italy
“Praise the Lord, all you nations, praise his glory and might” (1 Chronicles 16:28). Jesus’ name will be praised among every tribe, tongue, and language – even among every people group in Ancona Italy!
