Team Expansion Worker
A fifteen-year-old son of one of the Afghan families with whom A and J work in Missouri hung himself after school under the baseball field bleachers. Pray for his family and the community. These refugees have been under tremendous stress all their lives, and especially during the past year. The Taliban, escaping from Afghanistan, time spent in camps, travel, and adjusting to life in America have certainly taken a toll. The boy was not being harassed or teased at school, and his family life was good. No one knows what pushed him over the edge.
Pray for More Workers
Praise God for brothers and sisters in Christ who are responding to His call to reach the nations. Pray that His Spirit equips them with boldness and perseverance and empowers them to be faithful, relentless stewards of the Gospel message.
