Here are some sample Psalms of Lament to consider: 11, 12, 13, and 14. Use this pattern to compose your own lament. First, write an address to God. Second, review God’s faithfulness in the past. Third, write down your complaint. Fourth, write out your confession of sin or claim of innocence. Fifth, request God’s help.
