Please join in 30 Days of Thanksgiving – pausing and reflecting on what God has done this year through His provision, power, and protection.

“Therefore, let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe.” (Hebrews 12:28)

Father, Your kingdom is unshakable! Thank You for the role of persecution to spread Your fame among the nations. Suffering is imminent for those involved in disciple-making movements. We know we have a real enemy that does NOT want to see the growth of Your Kingdom. We are THANKFUL, Father, that we serve You who is present, real, powerful, and victorious! Thank You, Father, for disciple makers living with a mission purpose and for fully equipping Your soldiers with Your armor. Thank You, Father, for Your protection and Your Presence that surrounds Your worshippers.

Team Expansion Worker

From L and B in the Middle East:

  • What a joy to be partnered with you in loving Pearls! We returned to the Arab Gulf with a lot of joy and eagerness to get back to life and ministry.
  • We will be welcoming an intern to our team for the next four months! M will be living with one of our teammates, learning language, and teaching English while she experiences life and ministry with “Pearls.” Please pray that this would be a great experience for both our team and for M!
  • Some of you have heard the story of “Halima,” whose husband divorced her on the grounds of infertility. Days after the divorce, Halima realized she was pregnant. In order to protect the child from living with the disgrace of being considered fatherless, Halima’s father adopted her son. Known as an upright, generous man, Halima’s father’s reputation of protecting his daughters and safeguarding the honor of the weak is well known among “Pearls.” Three days ago, this much beloved man died of a heart attack. His death leaves many precarious family issues of inheritance, visas, and birthrights up in the air. Please pray for this dear family. Ask God to redeem what feels so hopeless and shattered.
  • Next month, our team will continue some survey work of the “Pearl” population in a nearby city. The hope is that some of the team will eventually begin working and ministering there. Please pray that God would lead L and B to the right people and that they would gain a clear vision for how a team might be able to work and bless the community of “Pearls” there.

Pray for More Workers

Good Shepherd, thank You for searching and finding Your lost sheep, those strays that You will bring home again. Thank You for representatives who are in Your sheepfold going out to bring the wandering ones to Jesus.
