Pray for new believers in Japan as they begin their walks with Christ. Thank God for the people who are encouraging them as they grow and mature.
Team Expansion Worker
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” (Luke 4:18, 19)
Pray for those in power, whether government or business, to have compassion on the poor and provide justly for their needs. Pray for those working in NGOs and missions to find creative ways of helping them. Pray, too, that God’s Word will be spread among the poor and that they would hear and believe the Good News.
Pray for More Workers
Join Chad and Jennifer Huddleston (Japan) in praying that they might be a light to the hockey communities to which they are connected. Pray they will be tuned into the Holy Spirit as they spend time together. Ask that they would be good listeners in the conversations they have. Pray for their team as they have conversations about how God can use them even more effectively to reach the lost in their city and beyond.
Unreached People of the Day
The Jeng people worship many spirits and offer sacrifices to their ancestors. Would you join us in praying for one worker to go to the Jeng to show them that Christ is more powerful than any spirit they have ever heard of?
