  • Attend Launch, Kairos course, Jonathan Training, MTI, and other necessary trainings

  • A burning compassion for and deep commitment to help unreached people groups.
  • Experience in ministry and discipleship (other areas, as needed for the respective precise role in the specific outreach)
  • Creativity.
  • Willingness to pray.
  • Administration skills, as needed, for maintaining a good relationship and accountability to supporters
  • Ability to work well with a group of volunteers.
  • Not given to a critical spirit
  • “Can-do” attitude
  • Self-starter
  • Willingness to utilize e-mail communication, or other means if email is unavailable

  • Train for the field, as advised by the respective Team Leader, Field Coordinator and/or International Services rep.
  • Establish office/residence in the appointed host country
  • Learn the local language and culture, if applicable
  • Create and design creative and effective ministries to communicate Christ’s hope
  • Administrate those ministries and the relationship with the missionary’s respective supporters
  • Work harmoniously with other team members, encouraging them to do the same
  • Communicate responsibly
  • Pray daily for ministry needs
  • Seek the vision of the respective Team Leader
  • Grow spiritually
  • Evaluate constantly to help improve one’s ministries
  • Trust in God for the fulfillment of these ministries

Team Leader

Purpose/Goal of Ministry

Team Expansion missionaries seek to glorify the Lord by sharing His hope and love with those who haven’t had a chance to experience it firsthand. Where possible, they work together with fellow team members to jointly establish a disciple multiplication movement that will possess all of the resources, motivation, and skill to reproduce itself perpetually without the aid from external sources. Through the birthing of these new believers, they hope to make a long-term difference in a hurting world.
