“And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” (Luke 12:29-31)
Lord, prepare our hearts to be free from worry. We know that worry will take our minds off YOU, so enable us to seek your kingdom for all that we need. YOU are our provider as we wait for the coming of the Christ child.
Pray the Gospel soon reaches the Salang, the Salao, the Samtao, the Sapuan, and the Sedang peoples in Laos.
“For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood…for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.” (Romans 3:25-26)
O God, we pray once more that thousands of Japanese in Tokyo would be made right in Your sight by repenting of their unbelief and believing in Jesus your Son.
