We are looking for a Graphic Designer who is passionate about missions and design to join our Communications Team.
As a Graphic Designer, you will help fulfill requests that will advance ministries in 50+ fields. Every year, our Communications Team completes over 150 design requests ranging from business cards to convention displays. Each item we create is used by Christian workers to raise funds, mobilize new workers, share the gospel, and/or disciple new believers.
We are looking for designers who can work on a team to help build a strong and consistent brand for Team Expansion.
Ministry Duties
- Monitor our design request queue and ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Build relationships with workers and help coach and guide them into better design.
- Work with Communications Team to build a strong plan for internal and external communications.
- Work with Social Media Coordinator to create design assets for online platforms.
- Remain up to date with latest design trends and ensure that our organization remains relevant and attractive to our donor base and prospective workers.
Ministry Qualifications
- Present a portfolio of your design work
- Proficient Graphic Design skills and a familiarity with the Adobe suite are a must
- Familiarity with web design and publishing is a plus
- Familiarity with MailChimp or similar email sending tools is a plus
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Time Commitment/Schedule
40 hours a week
Location
Louisville, KY – working remotely from another location would be considered.
Compensation
Like most positions within our organization, your salary will be donor-supported. We will work with you to help you learn how to build and maintain a strong support base.
