“For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6)
Lord, prepare our hearts to shine your light just as YOU have come to shine among us! YOU have given us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God! May our hearts shine brightly in a dark world as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Messiah.
Pray that God prepares the hearts to receive and obey Jesus among these unreached peoples in Laos: the Tai Kaleun, the Tai Khang, the Tai Laan, the Tai Loi, and the Tai Paan.
Dear Father, we pray against anything that might hinder the Gospel among the Mien people of Laos, whether it be geography, language, family, social pressure, or other factors. May your goodness be known to all people and may hearts turn to you.
Join V and L in praying that, as God’s plan unfolds, Chinese believers will begin to grasp God’s love and goodness in all things, even the most painful. Pray that they would be assured that God’s lavish lovingkindness does not erase their struggle but makes it purposeful.
