On September 1, Team Expansion gained a new member care provider. Jonathan Trotter is not new to our org, as you can learn more about in the video below. He will be spending about half his time with member care for our organization. As Jenny Smith of Member Care says, “The Member Care Team is excited to have Jonathan Trotter joining us. Jonathan brings valuable knowledge and experience to our team, as well as some much-needed testosterone! We know he’ll be a valuable asset.”

A Note From Jonathan
Hello, all! I am so excited about my new role at Team Expansion’s home office. I’ll be working on the member care team (along with Jenny, Renee, and Mary), and my focus will be providing pastoral care and empathetic coaching for our field workers.
For the last six years of our time in Cambodia, I served at a member care center in Phnom Penh, providing general pastoral care, debriefing, transition coaching, grief care, pre-marital coaching, etc. I also walked alongside of many married couples working through various difficulties, some related to life on the field and some just related to life.
I’ll be working remotely from our new hometown of Joplin, Missouri. You can read more about my background and what services are available at www.SeeingTheHeartsOfTheHurting.com. The byline for that website is “providing pastoral care and empathetic coaching for marriages, missions, and life in the mud.” That’s my hope and aim.
