Many small-town Main Street businesses opt to have an open house for trick-or-treaters. Their work often affects many and they have more power in those small towns than many realize. Pray that God would grab hold of these professionals’ hearts and that their earthly power would translate into an eternal passion for the glory of God and the fame of Jesus Christ.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1) God, we pray against the false teachings, false promises, and false hope of Buddhist and animistic religions. We pray that the Mien in Laos would begin to question what they believe and that You would reach into each heart. Make them wrestle with Truth in order to find what is good and true so that they may find Your Truth in the midst of spiritual chaos.
