REGIONAL MOBILIZER ministry description
REPORTS to Director of Mobilization
PURPOSE STATEMENT – multiplying disciples and churches among the unreached
VISION STATEMENT – 24 Disciple-Making Movements by 2024
MISSION STATEMENT – Born out of extraordinary prayer, we partner with the global church to mobilize, train, and coach qualified workers in the implementations of the fruitful practices of church planting movements.
PURPOSE OF MOBILIZATION – To educate, excite, and empower God’s people to be engaged in His plan for the nations.
MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mobilize People for Team Expansion Ministries. Mobilize workers for every level of involvement, from volunteer assignments to full-time placement with a team in one of our 40+ fields.
- Advocate for Team Expansion Missions. Communicate God’s heart for the nations and share the vision and ministry of Team Expansion. Represent the mission to individuals and to groups at churches, conferences, and colleges, building relationships with leaders of these ministries.
- Facilitate strategic events. Facilitate events that empower Christians to be actively engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. These events can include, but are not limited to, KAIROS and Jonathan Training and may be hosted by churches, colleges, campus ministries, and individuals.
- Promote and Lead Short-Term Mission Trips. “Connections” trips involve our existing fields and other locations, both international and domestic. The trips, led by partner churches or Team Expansion workers, are designed to build stronger bonds between field teams and U.S. partners and to provide opportunities for volunteers to serve the Great Commission.
- Collaborate with Team Expansion Personnel. Coordinate with International Services staff to accomplish the purpose of the mobilization department. Serve our field missionaries, missionaries in training, and missionaries on home service by promoting their fields, communicating their needs, and recruiting new workers for their teams.
- Advocate for unreached people groups by mobilizing future missionaries, hosting events, and providing resources to advance the effective establishment of a church planting movement among them.
- Travel to various speaking engagements, recruitment campaigns, conventions, etc.
- Collaborate and with programs with the Mobilization Department, such as: Quest, Pathways, and Connections.
