  • Lead the regular strategic planning process for the team
  • Coach the team. Delegate responsibilities according to the giftedness of the team members. Coach team members in their personal, ministerial, and spiritual development, and the implementation of their Personal Ministry Plan (PMP), meeting with them individually (or, if need be, as a group) each month for a “LIFT” review (either personally, via email, or phone).
  • Care for the team. Provide the first level of member care for the team members you lead, calling in other member care resources as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with Field Coordinator, International Services, and other necessary resources.
  • Continue personal training and enrichment through Team Leaders’ Summit, Connect gathering, appropriate conventions, and other training opportunities.

Purpose/Goal of Ministry

The Team Leader works in conjunction with the Field Coordinator to provide oversight, accountability, encouragement, coaching, mentoring, linking to resources, and leadership to full-time Team Expansion missionaries and Quest apprentices.
